How the LHCF Custom Bottle Cutting Program Works
For candles in branded bottles, customers must provide their own bottle to The Lighthouse Candle Factory (LHCF). LHCF will cut, grind, sand and polish the bottle to prepare it for a candle. One of our Specialists will then hand-pour the candle using our premium wax blend and unique fragrance oil(s) in any color wax you choose.
- Caution: Unfortunately, approximately 15% of all bottles cut will crack or shatter while cutting. DO NOT provide LHCF with a bottle that has sentimental value. ***LHCF is not responsible for any customer provided bottle that is damaged during the cutting process!
- Bottles can be shipped to LHCF, or dropped off at our Showroom.
- Contact us via email at customerservice@LHCFactory.com, call (336) 996-0712, or stop by the Showroom for details.
- Once the bottle is received, LHCF will provide you with a Quote.
- You are NOT billed until the bottle has been cut successfully.
- Once the bottle has been cut, you will be contacted via telephone for billing information.
- You will be billed for the cost of the candle, taxes and shipping costs (if applicable).
- LHCF will handmake your candle and ship it to you, or contact you for In-Showroom pickup (if applicable).
A Military Connection
A First Sergeant in the NC National Guard brought us these bottles and asked us to cut them and do a patriotic themed candle set. So, we did Red, White and Blue. What fragrance? We couldn't resist, GUNPOWDER of course!!! Thanks for trusting us Top, but most of all, Thank You for Your Service!
A Southern Mist is in the Air
The customer brought us this bottle and said "Make the color match the label and create a custom scent." We couldn't help but notice the beautiful lighthouse on the label, so we just had to make it smell like sitting on a beach in the South at midnight on a hot summer night. And yes, we called it Southern Ocean Mist.
Fly Like an Eagle
This guy has great taste in the bourbon he drinks. He brought these bottles to LHCF to be cut and filled with great smelling candles. These cut well enough that we were able to save the tops for him to use while he isn't burning the candle.
Well, Well, Weller!
A customer from North Myrtle Beach, SC sent us this bottle to be cut for a special Christmas gift he was giving. It was short notice, but, LHCF got it completed and back in time!!
How Rare Can It Get?
A customer brought LHCF a bottle his Dad had given him as a birthday present. We filled it with one of our exclusive in-house custom blended fragrances called Midnight Bourbon Club. His comment when he picked it up: "It smells even better than it looks! Unbelievable!"
A Very Special Christmas
One of our regular customers brought these four bottles in to be cut to give as Christmas Gifts. When she picked them up she said "OMG, these are better than what I expected them to be!" We LOVE IT when we can exceed expectations!!!!
